Kindle Cloud Reader

Here’s a good write up on the recently released Amazon Kindle Cloud Reader web application. You can follow the story as it unfolds via Kindle Cloud Reader tag on BlogKindle.com. In a nutshell: full versions of Amazon eBooks can now be read in a browser on any device (including netbooks). This is good news. The bad news is that so far only Chrome and Safari browsers are supported. It seems as though Amazon’s motivation was to have a plan-B in case Apple would kick out Kindle from the application store and to tap the growing Chromebook market. Stay tuned for more news!
